Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.
  • Drive it Home: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility. Documents & Vehicle Titles: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.
  • VIN Verification: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle’s current title. If needed, it is the buyer’s sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.
  • Mileage: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.

1927 Ford Model T Roadster

1927 Ford Model T Roadster

Price: 32,500.00 USD

1927 Ford Model T Roadster

1927 Ford Model T Roadster

For consignment, a 1927 Ford Model T roadster with a title verified 2,435 actual miles. A combination of steel, fiberglass, and aluminum make up the various panels. Built by New Jersey’s Vince Lily, it’s been owned by our consignor for 15 years who put it back together and added some modifications including a 9″ rear with 4.11 gears and Positraction.

Exterior

Two stage Midnight Blue coats this roadster and we’re talking deep paint here and in certain light, it can look black while other light brings out the navy blue and it’s nicely applied. Once you’ve absorbed the beauty of the paint, the wheel set up is next to compete for your attention, stacking 15-inch Weld wheels with vastly different widths and tires sizes, creating that classic hot rod stance that’s been a proven winner for about 80 years, here under fiberglass fenders connected by a steel running board. In back, the rectangular quartet of tail lights get your attention right before the massive meats grab your eyes as they peek from narrow fenders. Up front, the fiberglass ’32 radiator shell looks perfectly at home next to the aluminum hood which connects seamlessly to the fiberglass body. A modest windscreen with nicely sculpted posts completes the exterior which shows no glaring imperfections.

Interior

Stitched Ivory vinyl is the palette of choice here, providing a nice contrast to the exterior and the bench is augmented with blue piping that delineates the pattern change to smooth. The three spoke steering wheel leads to the body matched dashboard, clean and straight and adorned with a row of Classic Instruments gauges. On the floor, an ivory vinyl boot wraps the B&M shifter over black loop carpet, all in nice shape, and the finished trunk includes a carpet covered gas tank.

Drivetrain

That fuel heads to the exposed 350ci ZZ1 V8 with aluminum heads, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, GM aluminum intake, and coated headers, all ingredients of a recipe that develops 300 horsepower. It’s mated to a TCI TH350 3-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the Ford 9″ rear with 4.11 gears with Positraction. As an engine visible to the world, it’s appropriately clean and showy! The car operates on a 12 volt system.

Undercarriage

Same here, clean and showy with glossy black paint and some polished components too. Dual exhaust takes in glasspack style mufflers before heading east and west to exit in front of the rear tires. Disc brakes are at all four wheels and suspension is a 4-bar with transverse leaf spring up front and leaf springs in back.

Drive-Ability

We’ve got a big engine in a light car with lots of power, but we also have tires that are 35 years old, so there will be no flogging today. The exhaust note is sweet and there’s obvious power underfoot and how much wind you get in your hair is determined by your right foot. Meanwhile, all of the functions available in this sweet rod operate as intended and we return it to the mall where it probably won’t be here long enough to collect dust. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Somehow the combination of ’27 body, ’28 fenders, and ’32 front all work together beautifully. So does the combination of dark blue and light vinyl and as a bucket, the interior is as much part of the exterior as the paint. This is a fantastic build and for your reference, the front tires are 165/80R15’s and the rears are 31×18.50×15. Now all we need is a shipping address!

Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (that’s more than 8 acres!). The largest single location consignment dealer of classic and collectible vehicles in the country is located in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, just 1-hour west of Philadelphia off Exit 298 of the I-76 Pennsylvania Turnpike. For more information visit www.classicautomall.com or call us at (888) 227-0914. Contact us anytime for more information or to come see the vehicle in person. There is no guarantee of mileage. A $299 Dealer Administrative fee is not included in the advertised price.

1926 Ford Model T

1926 Ford Model T

Price: 15,900.00 USD

1926 Ford Model T

Selling my 1926 Ford Model T custom touring hot rod, originally built back in the day then restored and sold in 2020. This is an all-steel touring body with full fenders, finished in matte black, and powered by a  rebuilt 2.0L Ford  inline-four paired with a rebuilt C-4 three-speed automatic and a later model rear.

This is a personal car that I have truly loved and enjoyed. It is fully sorted, thoughtfully built, and drives beautifully. It has the look and character of an old-school Model T, but with upgraded Ford drivetrain and running gear components that make it genuinely usable. Between the great MPG, comfortable ride and reliability in all my 15 years doing car restoration I have not come across and early ford hot rod this well sorted. The 4cyl is punchy and roars but simple and relatively quiet compared to a chevrolet v8. The all steel body and vintage roots of this machine make it very unique compared to many ford glass replica roasters or hybrid hackjobs found today. It does not have any issues and can be daily driven upon purchase despite being 100 years old.

Highlights

  • All-steel 1926 Ford Model T touring body

  • Originally built as a show car in Florida with roots to the late 60’s.

  • Full steel fenders finished in matte black

  • All new rubber, lines hoses etc… Everything has been touched on this ride.

  • Service records, receipts and spare parts included

Condition

The matte black paint presents extremely well and is in beautiful condition. There are minor imperfections consistent with an all-steel, nearly 100-year-old body, but the car shows very nicely overall. The underside has been blasted, coated, and painted, and presents as well as the top side of the car.

The interior is finished with late 60’s vintage diamond-stitched upholstery and has a clean traditional hot rod look. The only real interior flaws I can find are two small age tears along the edge of the rear bench.

Drivability

This car runs, drives, shifts, stops, and turns beautifully. It has never given me an issue. It runs cool even on grades, shifts smoothly, and has a light, lively, go-kart-like feel on the road.

The larger-displacement four-cylinder keeps the essential Model T character while making the car much more usable than a glass bodied chevrolet v8 powered replica. It is also surprisingly efficient, with estimated mileage around 22-25+ mpg, making it a hot rod you can actually drive regularly without spending a fortune on fuel.

Mileage, Title & VIN

  • Approximately 5,900 miles indicated since resto

  • Clean California title in my name

  • Currently registered

  • Titled as a 1926 Ford

  • VIN: 12491866, which aligns with a late-1925 production sequence
