1930 Ford Model A Victoria

1930 Ford Model A Victoria

For consignment, a street rodded 1930 Ford Model A Victoria showing 11,485 non actual miles, with a Blueprint crate engine and a novelty matching trailer in tow that’s actually useful!  The design was so popular that 1931 saw 37,000 Victoria’s produced and carried through to 1934.

Exterior

Striking in its design, the two tone Ford carries black over the top third, richly contrasted by teal on the bottom.  The delineation is not just a straight line but contains a pointed spear flowing from the cowl while head on, the car is steeped in black from the light rings to the grille and radiator shell teal takes over from there on the fenders and the connecting running board in spectacular fashion.  15-inch polished American Racing Torque Thrust wheels carry widely varied tires from front to back, helping create an aggressive rake to the car’s profile.  Out back, the small teardrop trailer is painted to match and even the tubular tongue is painted teal, and it rolls on Torque Thrust wheels to match!  Chopped, bumperless, and clean, imperfections are noted as some cracking paint, spider cracks in both the teal and black, and chips.

Interior

A swing of the door, and we can see a tweed pattern in light blue covering on the door panels which are complete with a purple accent, aluminum panels for housing the power window toggles, and a billet style actuator.  Our consignor states new window motors have been added.  Turning our attention to the interior, more light blue tweed this time covering a bench seat with a split back while a full bench is in the rear of this car in the same material, all in good condition.  Legroom in the back is extremely limited and may better serve as a package shelf.  Up front, the dash has been simplified and now houses an elongated oval painted teal, and aluminum panel inserts for the central gauge cluster.  Below a custom fabricated box in aluminum houses the Vintage Air and heater controls and other pull knobs which are machined aluminum.  A black dash top and some black pinstripe flourishes complete the dash.  A teal tilt steering column has a Lecarra billet style steering wheel on top with billet style machined pedals below.  A detailed headliner catches your eye with more of the light blue tweed, some embossing forming a pattern, and some snappy purple accent panels along with a built in box for the AM/FM/CD radio.  A purple Eeyore decal on the dash pulls it all together.

Drivetrain

Behind the engine covers, we find a spotless Blueprint 355ci V8 with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and Blueprint aluminum heads, putting out a consignor stated 390 horsepower.  Coated headers along with polished and chrome engine components make this an engine worth exposing for shows.   A rebuilt TH400 3-speed automatic is behind it sending power to the rear wheels.  Disc brakes are supplied front and rear and new brake lines have been added.

Undercarriage

All done right with a continuation of the mixture of black and teal, it shows some road dirt but no surface rust nor errant fluids are found.  The dual exhaust comes from the headers and receives some bling from the stainless steel mufflers, then out to the oval chrome tips.   A Mustang II front end is on board which brings with it rack and pinion steering while Corvette IRS includes new leaf springs in back.

Drive-Ability

This comfortable compact interior completely wrapped in blue tweed is a soft walled environment that feels as cozy as a wooded den, only this one is mobile!  We prime the pump and crank the 355 to life, then roll this two tone wonder onto the test loop where its raked stance gives us a view of the road ahead over the long hood.  There’s good power underfoot and nice handling aided by 265/70SR15 tires in back, and road imperfections are absorbed well, making a long road trip an attractive possibility.  Meanwhile, all other functions work as advertised!  While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

Be sure to reserve two spots at the car show because you’re going to want to show the matching trailer, but even if you leave it home, this is a stunning and striking car with all the right ingredients street rodders desire.  We’re not getting any younger and that project car just isn’t getting done any time soon, so step into this turnkey show car while you chip away at the project, and you’ll have the best of both worlds with two color extravagance!

1913 Ford Model T Runabout

1913 Ford Model T Runabout

Price: 29,901.00 USD

1913 Ford Model T Runabout

1913 Ford Model T Runabout

For consignment, a 1913 Ford Model T Runabout with a handful of miles since the engine rebuild.  This is an AACA Senior Grand National award winner, for “best exemplifying the restoration, preservation and enjoyment of antique motor vehicles in keeping with the purpose of the Antique Automobile Club of America”.  This car is trailered to shows and has not been on roads.  If your collection would benefit from an early American two seater, this is a worthy contender.

Exterior

Its Midnight Blue body has been called “all but black blue” and is very dark, but still contrasted by the black fenders, base, and running boards which are indeed glossy black.  The dark blue is a particularly stunning match for the brass trim which includes the radiator shell, headlamp rims, horn covers, and window trim.  The black canvas top is in excellent condition and also is accented by brass grommets.  In back, a handy trunk is built into the body while a singular brass trimmed red light rests just behind it and on one of those running boards is an acetylene gas generator tank.  A two part windscreen can pivot and rises over two cowl lamps and a wooden “firewall” while 21-inch wooden spoke wheels are blue to match with brass valve stems and hubs, and tires that retain the color of natural rubber, off white.  Minor imperfections include some chips on a front fender and some rough paint on the door.

Interior

Smooth black leather covers the inner doors plainly while the material takes on diamond tufting on the bench which is generously padded with a top rim that wraps around to form armrests.  The typical black steering wheel has four concaving spokes and brass levers leading to the wood panel housing a Stewart speedometer and boxed spark coil, all in great shape.  On the floor, each steel pedal is embossed with a letter and along with the handbrake, rise from the floor covered in a white mat.  The horn bulb is mounted to the left of the driver perched at the ready to warn pedestrians who may share the road.

Drivetrain

Behind the engine cover is the rebuilt 177ci L-head inline 4 cylinder, rated at 20 horsepower and fueled by a state of the art contraption for 1913, the 1-barrel carburetor.  Its transmission is the 2-speed planetary type which sends power to the rear axle and 3.63 gears.  Mechanical drum brakes on the rear wheels were the standard for early cars and are found here.

Undercarriage

The underside maintains the museum quality presentation and is clean and glossy.  Transverse leaf springs are used front and rear and a single exhaust meets a stock style muffler before ending via a straight pipe towards the rear.

Drive-Ability

Our crack staff includes antique aficionados who know their way around a hand crank and provide all  the knowledge needed to take this ol’ girl for a ride and just the idea that a 112 year old car moves under its own power is pretty astounding.  That all available functions work as intended is icing on the cake!  While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

In a world where technology becomes outdated and obsolete rather quickly, (think about your 2015 car versus your 2025!), to have the most basic of cars, the Model T in working order and better than new presentation is a rare treat.  If you’re the type who has a working Victrola in the living room and cast iron cookware in the kitchen, then you probably understand the historical and nostalgic significance this car represents.  Every room is a throwback, it’s time to include the garage!

1930 Ford Model A Hotrod

Price: 43,995.00 USD

1930 Ford Model A Hotrod

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we’re happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).

FEES: A documentation fee of $399 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state’s taxes, transfer, or additional fees.

AVAILABILITY: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment’s notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

CONTACT: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.

INSPECTION: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it’s important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.

For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier’s check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears). We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.

We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper’s custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.

DRIVE IT HOME: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.

DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.

VIN VERIFICATION: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle’s current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer’s sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.

MILEAGES: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.

CONDITION: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Finally, be advised that although our sales associates are here to assist you with your purchase, they are not trained or certified vehicle inspectors.

AS-IS: All vehicles are sold AS IS and with no warranties expressed or implied. If you choose to waive inspection, do plan to have a detailed and transparent conversation with us regarding the vehicle’s condition. Ask the hard questions up front. The zip in windows and old school heater will keep you toasty on those chilly nights. The bed is big enough to pack everything you need for an adventure. This one will not disappoint.
