Vehicle Details

This is a beautiful Model T Speedster. I’m not for sure the year of it though. I’m being told by 1 guy that says it’s a 24. Another knowledgeby guy I know is telling me pre 19. I live here in Kitts Hill Ohio and my cell is (740) 547-6687. Your welcome to come and look at it, call or text with any questions. The motor does turn over but I’m no mechanic. As you can see from the pictures it’s been converted over to 12 volts. I have no title with this car neither. I will write a bill of sale though. Also I will work with your shipper on pushing it on the trailer. The car does not run. You are welcome to come to the house and tinker with it if you know what your doing. I accept cash on pickup or a wire transfer only. Preferably cash though. If you can’t pick it up yourself within 3 days. I need the wire transfer in 3 days. Then you can have it picked up in a reasonable time frame. I’m going to post a Red Touring car, that belonged to the same man. Which ever one sales first, I will keep the other one. If you have a excavator I’m willing to do some trading to.

1928 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup

1928 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup

Price: 27,501.00 USD

1928 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup

1928 Ford Model A Pickup Roadster

Gracing our Hallowed Halls and offered to you for consignment, a 1928 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup.  In the case of this car though, mostly original intent as well as actual visual parts to this build, have been retained.  The beneficiary of a recent 3 year long restoration and built to be driven, this truck presents very nicely.  It shows as near factory new, and for an 95-year-old truck, it’s in very good condition.

Exterior

A very vibrant Washington Blue covers the metal panels of this roadster pickup.  A few light scuffs and scratches are noted in the finish, but there certainly isn’t any rust to be found.  Curving fenders and textured rubber covered running boards are also painted blue and show well.  A radiant red is painted on delicate looking wire wheels with their now black cast-iron drum brakes in the centers.  These are surrounded with like new thin blackwall tires, and on the passenger side is nestled in the back portion of the front fender just before the running boards is a spare tire wrapped in a tan canvas covering.   Out back, a blue steel bed with outward canted tops has a floor finished in nicely stained oak wood and black strips all looking to have never hauled a single load.  Twin chrome trimmed period correct tail lights, a FORD script embossed tailgate, and split dual bar chrome bumpers round out the tail end of this antique hauler.  The front of the car has vented metal side panels that fold upward to reveal the engine compartment.  A perfect grille, topped with a chromed Ford motometer, is flanked by 2 oversized headlamps, an original chromed front bumper, and an ahooga style horn.  The passenger compartment is covered with a nearly new ivory canvas top, finishing out our exterior tour nicely.

Interior

Olive brown colored vinyl covers a bench seat and shows in very nice condition with deep tuck and roll inserts.  Highly lacquered hardwood is making up the floors and up front the metal dash, also in Washington Blue color, has a centrally located “mask” style chromed instrument cluster, which shows original gauges.  A period style extra large steering wheel, tall shift lever, as well as a handbrake can be seen in the compartment.  Very nice, very correct, and all restoration fresh in here.

Drivetrain

Under the cowled hood is a 201ci 4-cylinder engine that ticks and runs like a switch watch.  Not in perfect condition, with some surface rust and olive green paint on the engine is a bit chipped.  A 1-barrel carburetor feeds the precise mixture of air and fuel and on the back is a selective sliding gear 3-speed manual transmission.  A 3.70 geared rear axle moves you down the road effortlessly.  Also in lieu of the generator, an alternator has been installed and all hoses, wiring, and spark plugs appear as new.

Undercarriage

Retaining its rust free condition from the restoration we see nothing but black painted steel, solid body hangers and cast iron drum brakes now on, and Washington Blue solid stamped steel floor pans.  Transverse leaf springs are on all the front and rear and mechanical drum brakes are seen here as well.  A single exhaust system is on to handle the exhale.

Drive-Ability

The highlight of this car despite its good looks and good condition, is definitely the drive-ability.  A made for touring in style of the roaring 20’s, this car accelerates nicely, and actually runs along at speed, (45-50mph?), easily.  Shifting is smooth, and all seems tight and squeak free.  All functions are working as they should.

Reluctantly the time has come for someone else to take tender loving care of this wonderful 1928 Model A Roadster Pickup.  Fully restored over the last 3 years, diligently maintained, and a wonderful driver will allow the new owner of this beautiful piece of Ford history to drive it right out of the Classic Auto Mall and begin enjoying it immediately.  Ahhhhhhooga!

Classic Auto Mall is a 336,000-square foot classic and special interest automobile showroom, featuring over 850 vehicles for sale with showroom space for up to 1,000 vehicles. Also, a 400 vehicle barn find collection is on display.  This vehicle is located in our showroom in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, conveniently located just 1-hour west of Philadelphia on the I-76 Pennsylvania Turnpike. The website is and our phone number is 610-901-3804. Please contact us anytime for more information or to come see the vehicle in person.

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we’re happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).

FEES: A documentation fee of $399 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state’s taxes, transfer, or additional fees.

AVAILABILITY: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment’s notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

CONTACT: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.

INSPECTION: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it’s important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.

We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper’s custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.

DRIVE IT HOME: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.

DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.

VIN VERIFICATION: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle’s current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer’s sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.

MILEAGES: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.

CONDITION: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. 1974 Ford Model A Roadster

1974 Ford Model A Roadster

Price: 18,500.00 USD

1974 Ford Model A Roadster

About this vehicle

This is a factory built 1931 Ford Model A replica with a more modern drive train ( V-8 with automatic transmission ). It is a GLASSIC REPLICAR built in 1974 by Glassic Industries at their plant in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Seller’s Notes

Bought this a year ago as a snowbird’s car, and have driven only on a couple of test drives. Fortunately she’s had a good garage for a residence here in central Florida. Unfortunately, after nearly 20 years migrating from Maine, we need to make this our last winter. We will be selling the house, toys, and anything that doesn’t have enough sentimental value to make the trip! Thanks for looking.

Vehicle Details

Mild Hotrod may be the best way to describe this car. A quick little car from the factory that has undergone several recent performance improvements, such as complete cooling system replacement with high cooling ability in mind, a new Edelbrock carburetor and polished aluminum intake, new performance ignition distributor, and a well built dual exhaust.

Dash gauges were replaced, including the odometer, so the actual mileage is unknown. Estimated to be between 20,000 to 25,000 miles.

Performs well, looks sharp with baby moons/trim rings on newer tires, and sounds great …. as the 302 engines were noted for.

1925 Ford Model T Express Delivery

1925 Ford Model T Express Delivery

Price: 28,900.00 USD

1925 Ford Model T Express Delivery

The success of the mass-produced Ford Model T will forever be recorded in history books. With its launching in 1908, it was built in multiple styles through 1927. With generational design changes along the way, the Model T sold confidently each year as a practical, inexpensive vehicle affordable by almost any working individual with plenty of parts and service centers located just about anywhere you needed. Henry Ford continued to produce America’s affordable Model T at a rapid pace into the late 1920’s, averaging over 1 million units each year! The simplicity of the design, along with nine model choices to choose from, made Ford an easy choice for budget conscience buyers. In some cases, specialty bodies were supplied by independent coach builders to suit individual client requirements, especially in the commercial market.

In the case of this Model T offered here, the body was supplied by Kratzer Carriage Company who built quality, hand-crafted bodies specialized for use as delivery equipment. They were based in Des Moines, Iowa with over 20 distributors throughout the entire state. Their bodies were sold totally constructed using top-grade materials, complete with paint and pinstriping to the buyer’s discretion, and 100% ready to simply bolt onto a Ford chassis.

This Model T offered here is fitted with their Express Type Delivery Truck body. Note the twin hinged doors on both sides with special handle locks when closed & body side retainers to hold them open when necessary; two drop side windows and a rear sliding window for extra ventilation; as well as upper and lower front windshields that also pivot to allow air flow from the front. The seatback cleverly hides coiled springs behind the cushion for added comfort to the driver on longer voyages. At the rear, you will find a flat bed with stained wood planks along with a special, fully boxed enclosure for hauling payloads more securely. Atop each side rail are removable display billboards that can be later personalized to your own taste, along with a folding and removable rear tailgate panel to unload cargo with ease!

This beautiful 1925 Ford Model T Express Delivery Truck was restored many years ago and continues to look and drive truly excellent! Under the hood remains a period correct 177ci Inline 4-cylinder engine rated at approximately 20 horsepower mated to a 2-speed planetary transmission. Our example here was further enhanced with a Rocky Mountain 6-speed transmission which triples the gearing range of the Ford transmission with an Under Drive, Direct Drive, and an Overdrive option for each of the forward gears, even reverse. According to Rocky Mountain literature, this provided 85% more pulling power, and 25% higher top end speed for traveling. They are extremely durable and have a proven industry history.

Other features on this incredibly special Model T include oil wick cowl lamps and rear stop lamp, electric headlamps with Ford lenses, added electric taillamps, auxiliary water pump, electric horn and a brass bulb horn, Ford amp meter, Boyce winged motometer, wood steering wheel, and interior rubber floor mat. This Model T has a documented history dating back to 1960 while still being shown and enjoyed in the Iowa region. It would migrate to Omaha, Nebraska in 1967 where it would earn top honors at the Omaha Antique Auto Hall of Fame Show, and later featured in the Sunday World-Herald Magazine of the Midlands in July 1971 as part of an article highlighting Omaha’s Centennial Model T Club.

Upon arrival to the St. Louis Car Museum & Sales, our service team performed a comprehensive inspection. We ultimately replaced the older gas tank for a brand new unit, sediment bowl with shut-off valve, and drain petcock; rebuilt the carburetor with steel needle & seat, bowl shim, spray nozzle, and gasket set; brand new water pump, connection pipe, hoses & clamps; new 180 degree thermostat, new fluids and oils from the radiator the rear axle; transmission oil screen and cover door gasket; and new ignition switch. It runs absolutely amazing and is ready for the next owner to show with tremendous pride! A Model T in this condition will never last long! Please call with any questions or to schedule your chance to review it in person.

The 1929 Ford Model A Roadster, a quintessential representation of the golden age of motoring, stands as a testament to timeless design and engineering excellence. This particular Model A, sold new by the esteemed Joseph L. Doan Ford in Philadelphia, PA, is a remarkable piece of automotive history, offering a captivating blend of originality and charm that appeals to both collectors and enthusiasts alike.

One of the most striking features of this Model A Roadster is its Rumble Seat, a delightful addition that harks back to a bygone era when cars were not just a means of transportation but a symbol of adventure and freedom. This Rumble Seat provides an extra touch of nostalgia, perfect for those leisurely drives on a sunny afternoon, evoking images of a simpler time when life moved at a gentler pace.

Under the hood lies the original engine, proudly bearing the matching serial number on the block, a rare find. This engine, a true survivor from 1929, is a testament to Ford’s legendary durability and engineering prowess. Accompanying this mechanical marvel is the original sales order from 1929, a cherished document that offers a fascinating glimpse into the car’s storied past.

The exterior of this Model A is adorned in its factory blue and black color scheme, a classic combination that exudes elegance and sophistication. Adding a splash of vibrancy are the factory-ordered red wheels, a striking contrast that highlights the car’s sporty and playful character. This color palette, meticulously preserved over the years, continues to captivate and delight admirers.

In addition to the original sales order, a copy of the original title further underscores the car’s provenance, providing a complete and documented history that is often sought after by discerning collectors. This documentation not only adds to the car’s historical significance but also ensures its rightful place as an excellent example of automotive heritage.

Despite its age, this Model A performs admirably on the road. The brakes, often a point of concern in vintage vehicles, are in excellent condition, ensuring that the car stops great and offers a secure and confident driving experience. However, the chrome accents, while still gleaming with a touch of nostalgia, do show signs of age, a gentle reminder of the car’s long and storied journey through time.

This Model A has undergone an older restoration, which, while showing some signs of age, adds to the car’s character and charm. The patina of time, evident in the subtle wear and tear, tells a story of countless adventures and memories forged over nearly a century. This blend of originality and vintage allure makes the car not just a collector’s item but a cherished companion for those who appreciate the art of motoring.

Ready to enjoy, this 1929 Ford Model A Roadster invites you to step back in time and experience the magic of early automotive history. Whether you are a seasoned collector or a newcomer to the world of classic cars, this Roadster offers an unparalleled opportunity to own a piece of the past, a car that promises to bring joy and excitement with every drive. Embrace the allure of the open road and the timeless elegance of a true classic with this exceptional Model A.
