Be prepared for the extra attention you are going to get when you pull up anywhere with this stunning 1930 Ford Roadster! This is a real Henry Ford steel roadster that was professionally built and is a national event show winner!

The smooth exterior is painted in a very unique Deep Amethyst Metallic with Orchid Pearl and Iris Mist accents throughout. This color is so rich it you will feel it in your sweet tooth! This paint scheme is paired with Budnik polished alloy wheels wrapped in BFG Radial tires, bar dropped commercial headlights on a chrome bar, 3-piece hood, and rumble seat style trunk opening trunk! The 30 body is accented nicely by a 32 grille and shell, 32 chrome rear bumper, 32 taillights, 32 frame horn covers, and a slick 2″ chopped windshield really give it a custom touch.

Under the hood is anything but stock, a GM ZZ4 350 cubic inch V8 crate engine making far more power with better reliability than Henry could have imagined in 1930. There are so many chrome and custom painted parts under the hood you won’t be able to keep people away at a car show. It is truly stunning the amount of time and thought must have gone into this build! All the shifting is done courtesy of a GM 4 speed 700R4 automatic with overdrive mated to a Lokar shifter. Talk about a carefree cruiser!!

Peek under her skirt and you will quickly see that the undercarriage is just as nice as the exterior! Everything on this fully boxed rectangular frame is painted, polished, or chrome! It is completely TIG welded with every joint molded thanks to the crew at Deuces Northwest Street Rods. True dual exhaust rumbles from the S&S headers out through twin chrome exhaust tips exiting the rear of the car right down the center. For stopping, we have Wilwood front calipers and Cadillac rear discs with a Tilton Dual master cylinder and balance bar. The soft parts of the brake , fuel and transmission cooler lines are also stainless braided. 4 link coil over adjustable suspension in the rear gives you the ability to adjust the ride to your liking.

Inside the cab, and the rumble seat trunk area are covered in beautiful Vanilla leather. All the upholstery work was completed by Davlin Custom Upholstery. The 32 dash features classic script white faced VDO gauges, Denon CD stereo, custom package tray, Space saver compact heater, amp and subwoofer behind the seat and a Budnik steering wheel on a Brookville tilt column. The gorgeous black retractable canvas soft top is covered with Black Hartz cloth. Behind the seat is a hidden bulkhead containing the fuse panel, battery, speakers, amplifier, power antenna, and the brake fluid reservoirs. This show stopper is available now for a fraction of the build cost so call soon before it’s too late!

1929 Ford Model A Pickup

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we’re happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).

FEES: A documentation fee of $399 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state’s taxes, transfer, or additional fees.

AVAILABILITY: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment’s notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

CONTACT: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.

INSPECTION: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it’s important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.

PAYMENT: We require a non-refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours of winning or commitment to purchase. Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier’s check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears). We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.

SHIPPING: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper’s custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.

DRIVE IT HOME: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.

DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.

VIN VERIFICATION: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle’s current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer’s sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.

MILEAGES: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.

CONDITION: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Finally, be advised that although our sales associates are here to assist you with your purchase, they are not trained or certified vehicle inspectors.

AS-IS: All vehicles are sold “AS IS” and with no warranties expressed or implied. If you choose to waive inspection, do plan to have a detailed and transparent conversation with us regarding the vehicle’s condition. Ask the hard questions up front. Please just call us, we are here to help and welcome all your questions!

Special features to note about this model are the twin hinged doors on both sides with special handle locks when closed and body side retainers to hold them open when necessary, along with, the two drop side windows and a rear sliding window for extra ventilation, and the upper + lower front windshields that also pivot to allow air flow from the front. The seatback cleverly hides coiled springs behind the cushion for added comfort to the driver on longer voyages. Our example here was further enhanced with a Rocky Mountain 6-speed transmission which triples the gearing range of the Ford transmission with an Under Drive, Direct Drive, and an Overdrive option for each of the forward gears, even reverse. According to Rocky Mountain literature, this provided 85% more pulling power, and 25% higher top end speed for traveling. They are extremely durable and have a proven industry history.

+ Rear stop lamp

+ Electric headlamps with Ford lenses

Our available 1925 Model T has a documented history dating back to 1960 while still being shown and enjoyed in the Iowa region. It would migrate to Omaha, Nebraska in 1967 where it would earn top honors at the Omaha Antique Auto Hall of Fame Show, and later featured in the Sunday World-Herald Magazine of the Midlands in July 1971 as part of an article highlighting Omaha’s Centennial Model T Club.

Upon arrival to the St. Louis Car Museum our service team performed a comprehensive inspection. We ultimately replaced the older gas tank for a brand new unit, sediment bowl with shut-off valve, and drain petcock; rebuilt the carburetor with steel needle & seat, bowl shim, spray nozzle, and gasket set; brand new water pump, connection pipe, hoses & clamps; new 180 degree thermostat, new fluids and oils from the radiator the rear axle; transmission oil screen and cover door gasket; and new ignition switch. History about Ford’s Model T:

The success of the mass-produced Ford Model T will forever be recorded in history books. With its launching in 1908, it was built in multiple styles through 1927. With generational design changes along the way, the Model T sold confidently each year as a practical, inexpensive vehicle affordable by almost any working individual with plenty of parts and service centers located just about anywhere you needed. Henry Ford continued to produce America’s affordable Model T at a rapid pace into the late 1920’s, averaging over 1 million units each year! The simplicity of the design, along with nine model choices to choose from, made Ford an easy choice for budget conscience buyers. In some cases, specialty bodies were supplied by independent coach builders to suit individual client requirements, especially in the commercial market.

In the case of the 1925 Model T example seen here, the body was supplied by Kratzer Carriage Company who built quality, hand-crafted bodies specialized for use as delivery equipment. They were based in Des Moines, Iowa with over 20 distributors throughout the entire state. Their bodies were sold constructed using top-grade materials, complete with paint and pinstriping to the buyer’s discretion, and 100% ready to simply bolt onto a Ford chassis.

1927 Ford Model T

HISTORY OF THIS 1927 MODEL T #147707590:

When I bought the car from the 2nd owner this is what he related to me.

The car was born on Feb. 7, 1927 and was bought by the Cramer family at

Don Neher Ford,  2820 Broadway, Oakland, Ca.  It was driven to their farm

in Delano, CA where it was used for 26 years doing light duties around the

farm and to drive into Bakersfield on the weekends.  The car served them

well until a new 1953 Ford took its place.

The car was then stored in an auxiliary barn on their farm until the second owner,

Joe Robins, discovered it in 1996 and after a long persuasive process a deal was

struck.  Joe moved it to his home in Sacramento, CA with the hopes of restoring

the car in his spare time.  Over the years he managed to take it totally apart and

strip off all the old paint work.  He found it to be a Numbers Matching car with

Absolutely NO Rust.  But failing health prevented him from going further with

the restoration and advertised the car for sale in 2019.  As soon as I saw the ad,

I made arrangements to meet with him and  after seeing how Very Nice and

Original the car was, I immediately bought it.

After it arrived at my home in Marina, CA,  I decided to give it a total comprehensive

restoration with reliable touring in mind.

The engine was rebuilt by the renown Ed Katzorke. He found very little wear,

the cylinders were bored to .020 over to make them perfect.  It has new aluminum

pistons, stainless steel Chevy valves and keepers, adjustable lifters, new valve springs,

280 “Stipe” camshaft, new cam bearings, new rod and main babbit bearings

(the rods have oil dippers).  It also has Lang’s Left and Right (30ACC & 3081ACCP) inside

oil lines for better “Oiling”.The original steel large cam gear and the small crankshaft

gear were retained as they only had a 1/2 of 1 one thousands (.0005) wear.  The head was

shaved 1/16 to boost the compression a bit.

The transmission was rebuilt by Dan McEachern. New Kevlar linings and all

new bushings were installed, the magnets were removed for quicker pick up

and replaced with “oil slingers” for excellent oil splashing.  Then all was balanced.

The other items that needed machine work were done by M&M Machine in

Salinas, Ca.

The larger parts such as the  body, splash, fenders and running boards were

painted by Spectrum Auto Body in Salinas, Ca using  Dupont Centari Acrylic

Enamel with a hardener. All other smaller parts were painted by me using the

same paint.  The engine was painted with the very tough Bill Hirsch engine enamel.

All new wool upholstery with a rear window “silk” shade was installed.

New Top and Sun Visor “Grain” material with extra heat insulation was

put on.

I and a friend who is another Model T enthusiast did the assembly with the

strictest regards to “Henry s” original specifications coupled with fine detailing

as can be seen in the pictures.

Here is a list of the added “Goodies” it has.

1)   Fuse block – for wiring and fire protection.

2)   Main Battery Cable Cut Off Switch – Added Protection and Helps

The Battery Keep Its Charge Over Long Storage Times.

3)    All New Wiring Throughout – For Definite Fire Safety.

4)   Vintage style “Satellite” speedometer – it is extremely accurate and NO

cable or gears to foul around with.

5)   Jewel dash light – really pretty at night and lights the amp gauge,

      speedometer and floor.

6)   Leather Steering Wheel Cover – Better Grip On The Wheel With A

Softer Feel For LESS Driving Fatigue.

7)   Brake light switch – the tail light has a 2 filament bulb – good to let

people know you are slowing down.

8)   NOS gas gauge – No More Guessing – No More Sticks To Check The Level!

9)   Oil sight gauge – No More Crawling Under To Foul Around With Those

       Petcocks!

10  New “Flat Tube” radiator – Much Better Cooling.

11) New water pump with 180 degree thermostat – No More Overheating

Even When Crawling Through A Whole Parade.

(Comes With 1 Spare 36″ Belt)

12) New distributor – Much Smoother And More Reliable Engine Operation.

(Comes With A Spare Cap, Points, Condenser and Rotor.)

(They Are Also Readily Available From Auto Parts Stores and Lang’s Old Car Parts.)

13) New Style Semi-Conductor Cut Out – No More Battery Boil Overs.

14) New Style Oil Fill Cap With Breather Hose – Directs Those Oily Fumes

Out And Down Away From The Engine Compartment.

15) New Glass Gas Fuel Filter with Shut Off – Lets You See How Clean The

Bowl Is and The Shut Off Is A Great Safety Item.

16) New Tires – with proper alignment for many many years of touring.

17) New Timken Front Wheel Bearings and Races.

18) New Exhaust From Engine to Rear Bumper.  The muffler is an “Easy Flow”

from Summit with less back pressure for more horsepower but sounds

       like a stock muffler.

19)  Larger Intake Manifold – It really does give the engine a better power curve.

20) Hand Operated Windshield Wiper.

21) Left and Right Side Outside Rear View Mirrors With 130 Degree Visibility.

22) Left and Right Running Board “Ford” Step Plates.

23) Moto Meter with Dog Bone Accessory Temperature Gauge.

24) Front and Rear Stainless Steel Bumpers – Saves Those Fenders From Dents.

25) New Battery – You are good to go for many years.

26) New Cab and Trunk Carpet.  Looks good and Insulates road noises.

27) New Color Matched Seat Belts – Great For Extra Safety.

28) All New Safety Glass – An Absolute Must!

It now has close to 500 miles on it and it has been driven very carefully to

keep the RPMs down so that it would break in properly.

As you can see, the restoration came out Quite Well – It does run as Good As

It Looks – Very Smooth and there are NO squeaks or rattles in the All Steel Body.

I had planned on driving and keeping this car for a long time so I didn’t cut

any corners and invested almost 39,000 into it.  But age and some health

problems are starting to take a toll on me so I need to scale down a bit and find it

a good new home.

If owning a basically Brand New Ford at a Great Price is of interest to you,

come and take a look and go for a drive – You Will Not Be Disappointed!
