We accept PayPal and Cash App as a deposit on engines up to $500 a non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance can be paid upon pickup or prior to shipment with a Bank Check, ComCheck, TCheck, EFS, Fleet One, ACH, BankWire. Please contact us with payment and shipping questions. Engines will not be shipped out until paid in full.
Warranty
General Used Truck Parts Replacement Promise. General used truck parts is committed to complete customer satisfaction, offering a 90 day warranty on recycled parts. Any used engine, transmission, or differential will have a 3 month guarantee against mechanical product failure due to manufacturer defect.
Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase sales documentation must accompany all claims. Purchaser must keep receipts showing dates, mileage and service performed and/or materials purchased and furnish them to General used truck parts when requesting a claim.
Single (one-time) repair coverage (during 3-month guarantee) General used truck parts will repair up to 100% of the original invoice price. Authorization of repair is required prior to work performed once approved, copy of invoice is required when claim is requested. Credit applied upon review.
Single catastrophic failure coverage (during 3-month guarantee) causing engine replacement such as main components; block, rotating assembly, cylinder head, valvetrain, and bearing failure. It does not include engine accessories, glow plugs, fuel injectors, fan clutches, air compressors, power steering pumps, alternators and starters will not be covered under warranty. General used truck parts does not warranty against excessive fuel consumption, minor blow by or oil leaks. General used truck parts will provide a replacement engine upon return of engine and failure inspection is completed. A replacement engine is dependent on our available inventory. Copy of repair invoice is required. Freight for warranty replacement will be provided by general used truck parts.
Direct replacement failure coverage (during 3-month guarantee) causing replacement of transmission or differential. Schedule of covered internal lubricated moving parts including carrier case, gear sets, bearings, bushings, axle shafts, limited slip clutch pack and power divider. It does not include shift control modules, switches, sensors, oil seals and gaskets will not be covered under warranty. Repair invoice is required for warranty review and processing transmission and/or differential replaced under warranty will retain the original warranty period and terms.
Single (one time) repair and replacement or credit coverage ends when either or both applicable claim types have been applied. Claims requests are filed directly with the general used truck parts customer service department will issue a return authorization. In the event that it is determined that the part must be warrantied the original part must be returned to obtain repairs or refund. All warranties exclude non covered components, improper installation, failure to clear fault codes, defective workmanship, usage for which the part was not intended, improper maintenance and/or not serviced at proper intervals or incorrect types, levels of fluids and lubricants used in accordance with the vehicle manufactures specifications. All implied warranties, including warranties on merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of this warranty and do not cover incidental or consequential damages. Extensions of warranties are neither available nor applicable. Maintenance and/or wearable items are not covered under warranty. Failure incurred due to workmanship issues during repair performed by customers or end user are not covered by any warranty provided by general used truck parts. Original freight is not reimbursed under warranty claims. General used truck parts warranty does not consist of the following, freight damages, shipping charges and any other incurred expenses.
This warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties expressed or implied. Any modifications to this warranty shall be in writing only by an authorized representative of general used truck parts.
