To program the new 6EX2 transmitter to control a 1st Gen 6EX receiver:
(1) remove I-chip from old 6EX transmitter, and install in new 6EX2 transmitter
(2) set 1st 8-positions of the dipswitch on the 6EX2 transmitter to match the 8-position Function-dipswitch in the 6EX transmitter (fyi; there is no RF channel dipswitch on the 6EX2 transmitter, it reads the RF channel from the I-chip)
We are a full service shop – offering “Free” pre-programming of the Serial number and RF channel so that the unit is out-of-box ready for you to use, please include a message when you order to include your Sn and RF channel (this information can be found on back of your existing unit).
The new TX unit will be supplied to you as out of box ready, programmed to your Serial Number and with the RF channel preset for you, if you do not provide the Serial Number and RF channel then you will be shipped a blank unit without an ichip for you to program on site.
