* Reconditioning – I would say the thing that sets us apart from most other dealers is our reconditioning process. Every single truck that we retail goes through a set of steps and quality checkpoints to ensure what we are selling is something we can stand behind. When a truck comes in it gets checked over thoroughly by our inspector and he notes any/all deficiencies. The list he goes down is derived from a DOT inspection (which we have added onto over the years as the DOT doesn’t cover everything). The inspector will then take the truck on a 15-20 minute test drive to note any deficiencies found in a test drive (as if they were the customer). From there he writes all notes and areas of concern down and it then goes into our mechanical shop. Our mechanical shop spends as much time as they need to make the correct and necessary repairs to the truck. This can take days, weeks, or even months depending on parts availability. We try to use all OEM factory parts, unless it is not available to do so. Our average repair bill in our shop ranges from $4,000 and have been as high as $25,000+. Our team consists of 8 full time mechanics, 3 person buying team and a full detail crew so every truck we retail has had many eyes, opinions, and hours spent on it. * Family owned & operated since 1959 – Lewis Motor Company is third generation and was originally created in 1959. Since then the owners and business model has changed but the focus of doing honest business has always been the same. We are passionate about what we do. We’ve learned that if you remain honest and keep your integrity, it will take you much further than doing anything else. With every truck we sell, please feel free to ask for a repair list on what we’ve done to a truck or even pictures from when we bought the truck. Transparency is key – we aren’t selling brand new trucks and every one has a story!

* Vehicle descriptions  –  A large volume of our vehicles are sold sight unseen and out of state. This is why we offer 100+ pictures and a walk around video on each truck. I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from customers by doing so. Again, transparency is key!

* Financing and transportation – We can get the truck financed for you and delivered right to your door step. We do not have in-house financing but we do have several great companies we work with to make your financing quick and easy. Once approved, our lenders can have a truck paid for and ready to pick up in as little as 24 hours. We also offer door to door transportation to all of USA. This comes at an additional cost, but at a fair market price and we handle all of the leg work. Most trucks are oversized requiring special equipment and permits, we have the capacity to handle all of that for you. 

* Conveniently located – We are located in Clarksville, Maryland 21029 and only 20 minutes from Baltimore Washington International airport. We can arrange an airport pick up if you are coming to our dealership.
