This motorhome looks and smells brand new, is simple to drive, only 24 feet long, and sleeps the whole family.

Our priorities when we purchased this RV were:

  – FORD chassis E350, 7.3L engine

  – Compact motorhome with sleeping for 6, and no slides

  – Shoulder belts for passengers

We found what we were looking for in the Quantum LC22.  It can go anywhere, in any weather.  It runs like a clock, has great room for passengers, and immense outside storage.

We added a FROLI sleep system under the primary bed which made it oh so comfortable, and eliminated any mold/mildew concerns.  We replaced the original coach batteries with two premium AGM deep cycle batteries, which eliminated maintenance, and extended off-grid time.  This summer we also replaced the cab battery with a Diehard Platinum AGM battery.

We’ve been amazed by the MPG, handling, high build quality, great looks and low operating cost.  We’ve had no maintenance issues.  It’s the most reliable RV we’ve ever had (and we’ve had 6!).  All components operate as they should.  It’s been garaged and kept very clean.  No smoking or pets.  Living in the south, it’s seen very little snow, salt, ice or sand, so corrosion is not an issue.  This is a unique, well-built rig at a great price.

We’re selling because we’ve been blessed with so many grandkids!  Please don’t hesitate to ask questions.  As a christian and a Marine (Semper Fi!) Rick Rizzo, founder of Rick’s R.V. Center, was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois and graduated from Providence High School. He worked for several years as an apprentice electrician before going to work for his father-in-law in 1979 at Reiter’s Trailer Sales and Service on East Washington Street in Joliet.

Rick, by then a veteran of the RV industry, revamped a small building at the corner of Jefferson Street and Interstate 55 and opened Rick’s R.V. Center in 1984. Opening as a one-man operation, it wasn’t an uncommon sight to see Rick filling LP gas, installing hitches, or talking to customers about truck caps or camping trailers. It went from being just Rick to 31 full-time people.

Jeff Pilon, Rick’s nephew and grandson of Harold Reiter—the founder of Reiter’s Trailer Sales—joined Rick’s RV when it was founded in 1984. As part of a succession plan established in 1998, he purchased the business in 2023.
