Bild und Funk (21/ 1967) meinte: “Freddy singt ein paar Erfolgsschlager – das ist die Hauptsache. […] Er kann beweisen, dass er schauspielerisch-komisches Talent hat.“ Die Hörzu (21/ 1967) meinte: „Eine wundervolle Aufführung. Freddy war wieder einmal prima.”
