Lylle (Cameron Mitchell) and his girlfriend Darlenne (Jayne Mansfield) are responsible for the theft of a million dollars that was being transported from Europe to the United States. Hidden in a small, dilapidated hotel on the Mediterranean coast, they plan to rent a boat and return to their homeland as soon as possible. Darlene’s behavior, however, arouses the suspicions of Livio Morelli, the owner of the hotel who, in cahoots with his spinster sister Sandra, the greedy butler Dolph and the eccentric Mrs. Benoit, plans to get his hands on their money.
