This T-Bucket was custom built and designed for Ric Drasin back in the late 1970’s. Ric was a professional bodybuilder and actor who was training partners and very good friends with Arnold Schwarzenegger during the golden era of bodybuilding. Ric and Arnold would often train together at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach and you can find many pictures of them together online. You can see Ric pictured with this T-Bucket on the cover of a magazine in 1985, he took a lot of pride in this car and built it with no expenses spared ! The T-Bucket was the first hot rod in American history and is a true symbol of Americas automotive heritage. Without the T-Bucket the world of modifying vehicles as we know it would be completely different, it set the blueprint for every hot rod ever built and that makes it the most significant hot rod in history! This T-Bucket originally had a 327 engine but over the years to keep it running better and faster it was swapped for the current Chevy 350 engine, the previous owner decided that the car is fast enough with a single carb setup, and it is crazy fast !
