23 T Bucket: Engine AND transmission were rebuilt when they were still in our Suburban. After about 2000 miles the engine and transmission were pulled and installed into the T’s chassis. The T bucket has less than 750 miles on the chassis so the engine and transmission have under 2750 miles total on them. The car was completed 6/08 and has mostly sat for the last 10 years. It has been started, ran every couple of weeks since I have other cars that must be started and maintained also. No noticeable leaks or seepage’s. I would trust this car to drive anywhere.   Engine:  454 +.030 BBC, strong “RV” cam (los of torque), cam gear drive, HEI, aluminum intake with Edelbrock carb, aluminum water pump, high volume oil pump, 9:1 compression. Transmission:  Turbo 400 with shift kit, B&M shifter, extra deep aluminum pan, external finned cooler, shift light. Chassis and body:  Speedway main frame, body, front axle and suspension, rear axle and suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, airbag rear suspension, 9” Ford rear end with 3.55 posi removable steering wheel, Coker steel radials, Chevy Talley wheels with trim rings and Ford center caps, aluminum radiator, 10 gallon aluminum gas tank. Needs:  To drive and enjoy, absolutely nothing. To be “show” quality it needs detailed. Paint needs polished (never done), all the aluminum needs polished to remove oxidation, minor rust on some of the chrome.
