FAQ

What version of Windows 7 will be installed?

We will install Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit. Along with installing all necessary drivers and updates. The updates installed is widely considered Service Pack 2 since it was provided during the EOL, End-Of-Life, stage of Windows 7. We also proud to offer and install Extended Service Updates or ESU unto the machine. These are updates were sent to select and special clients long after the EOL date. These updates enhance security and improve certain features and functionality of the OS.

Why is Windows 7 Pro only available in 64-Bit?

We would love to offer a 32-bit version of Windows 7 Pro. Unfortunately, NVMe boot driver is only available for UEFI based Windows 7 which Microsoft only made Windows 7 64-bit versions UEFI based. To reiterate, Windows 7 32-Bit is legacy or BIOS based, which will not recognized NVMe drives upon boot. There are legacy-Oprom or BIOS based NVMe drives in the market, we unfortunately have not come across any to test this out.

What is a NVMe SSD?

NVMe (non-volatile memory express) solid-state state (SSD) drives are currently the fastest storage devices available in the market. They deliver the highest throughput and fastest response times possible. To help deliver a high-bandwidth, low-latency user experience, the NVMe protocol accesses flash storage via a PCI Express (PCIe) bus, which supports tens of thousands of parallel command queues and thus is much faster than hard disks and traditional all-flash architectures, which are limited to a single command queue.

This type of storage device provides a minimum 5x performance uplift compared to SATA based SSDs. This is based on Read and Writes bandwidth and most importantly the IOPS (input/output operations per second) performance. IOPS is the standard unit of measurement for maximum number of reads/writes to noncontinuous storage locations. This allows for the OS and your programs to be active without any slow feedback or wait times. In all, it gives you, the user, a fast and responsive experience for your daily and demanding tasks.

Can I have Linux installed instead of Windows?

Yes, you can.

We would like to accommodate our customers as much as possible. We have experience in installing and verifying Linux distros into our computers.

Previous customers have requested Debian or QubesOS to be installed.

Just chose your configuration with any Windows OS and, at checkout, leave us a message with the Linux OS of your choosing.

Shipping address must match on eBay account. We do not ship to third party.

All items will ship within 1-3 business days after payment received.

We offer shipping via USPS, UPS and FedEx. We do not ship any item via your arranged shipping/transportation company.

Economic Shipping will be the cheapest service available for your area. The service may take up to two (2) weeks depending on external factors such as weather, disruptions, backlog, etc.

RETURN POLICY

All items have a warranty of 30 days from day of received shipment.
