1931 Ford Model A Deluxe many prewar goodies as T Packard

Up for sale here we have a 1931 Model A Deluxe Roadster. Finished in a beautiful two tone beige and black exterior with vintage pale yellow wire wheels and a brown LeBaron Bonney interior including the rumble seat. Year 1931 with the dual spare is unquestionably one of the most sought after Model A’s in todays market. Plenty of prewar vintage details found all around such as the authentic chrome headlights and spotlights, dual spares with mirrors mounted on top, rumble seat that folds into the body, chrome cowl lamps on each side, running boards with Ford step plates, beautiful chrome rock guard for the grill, authentic rear trunk, Oogah horn, wind deflectors, and much more to be mentioned. This Model A was recently fitted with 6 Brand New Firestone Gum-Dipped Whitewall Tires, along with New Tubes plus the labor involved it’s around a $3,500 package, the new tires definitely give this roadster a truly vintage unbeatable look. The car was cosmetically restored – painted in 2006, vehicle comes with restoration receipts and documentation, not so many miles were put on the car after that, was mostly parked indoor, part of a beautiful classic car collection and for that reason the paint job is still in excellent condition, nice and shiny all around, nothing was done or changed underneath. The beautiful LeBaron Bonney interior has been very well taken care of and all of the upholstery is in excellent condition. The interior features the authentic Model A gauges and steering wheel as well as a nice matching brown carpet, overall a super clean and nice interior. This Model A is powered by a Henry Ford inline 4 cylinder engine in very good running condition, fires up within the first key every time, car runs and drives good, still a 6V system. This antique Ford comes with a convertible top boot that is used when the top is down also some Model A Club literature and Model A Instruction Book. Purchase Disclaimer:

Very nice and well built 1931 Ford Model-A Hot Rod. Not a $100,000+ Barrett-Jackson “Bank Breaker” and not a perfect show vehicle, but still shows very well in driver plus condition and will draw a TON of attention at your local classic car events or cruise-ins. Starts Easy, Idles Smooth, Runs Strong (See Video!). Please call or email with any specific condition questions.866-718-6504.

Due to our inventory size, location, and sometimes inclement weather, we are unable to drive every vehicle for long distances. We also cannot guarantee that every gauge, light, window, horn, option, function, etc., will work as it should. These cars are old, and components can fail at any time with little or no warning. Iowa is a non-inspection state; therefor, please check your local and state inspection/emissions requirements. Please note that we do not guarantee any factory or aftermarket air-conditioning systems, gauges, or electrical systems. Given the nature of the vintage vehicles we sell, these components will need upkeep or attention. In addition, many times these vehicles sit for long periods of time and once you begin to drive them, seals harden and gaskets may begin to leak. Classic cars are like old Harley motorcycles, they always leak. Please make sure you are comfortable with this before buying a vintage automobile. Classic vehicles will always require a certain amount of maintenance and upkeep. The information provided in this ad is solely for your convenience and advertising purposes. The description is an opinion only and should not be considered a complete description of any or all faults; it may not be relied upon nor taken as fact or otherwise a representation or warranty of any sort. Please note, we did not build or restore the vehicle. Some vehicles will come with original paperwork, restoration receipts, books, manuals, covers, additional keys; should the vehicle come with any of these items it will be listed in the description and sometimes shown in the photos. All vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with all faults known/unknown and with no implied warranty. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, with no exceptions. Pre-Purchase inspections are welcomed and encouraged. We provide many detailed photos, YouTube “walk-around” videos, and describe these vehicles to the best of our ability; however, we are only human and there may be something we miss or see totally differently than you. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email before making purchase. We do offer a classic car extended warranty package through Freedom Warranties, please contact a Thiel Motor Sales representative for exact coverage and cost.

1925 Ford Model T Express Delivery

1925 Ford Model T Express Delivery

Price: 28,900.00 USD

1925 Ford Model T Express Delivery

The success of the mass-produced Ford Model T will forever be recorded in history books. With its launching in 1908, it was built in multiple styles through 1927. With generational design changes along the way, the Model T sold confidently each year as a practical, inexpensive vehicle affordable by almost any working individual with plenty of parts and service centers located just about anywhere you needed. Henry Ford continued to produce America’s affordable Model T at a rapid pace into the late 1920’s, averaging over 1 million units each year! The simplicity of the design, along with nine model choices to choose from, made Ford an easy choice for budget conscience buyers. In some cases, specialty bodies were supplied by independent coach builders to suit individual client requirements, especially in the commercial market.

In the case of this Model T offered here, the body was supplied by Kratzer Carriage Company who built quality, hand-crafted bodies specialized for use as delivery equipment. They were based in Des Moines, Iowa with over 20 distributors throughout the entire state. Their bodies were sold totally constructed using top-grade materials, complete with paint and pinstriping to the buyer’s discretion, and 100% ready to simply bolt onto a Ford chassis.

This Model T offered here is fitted with their Express Type Delivery Truck body. Note the twin hinged doors on both sides with special handle locks when closed & body side retainers to hold them open when necessary; two drop side windows and a rear sliding window for extra ventilation; as well as upper and lower front windshields that also pivot to allow air flow from the front. The seatback cleverly hides coiled springs behind the cushion for added comfort to the driver on longer voyages. At the rear, you will find a flat bed with stained wood planks along with a special, fully boxed enclosure for hauling payloads more securely. Atop each side rail are removable display billboards that can be later personalized to your own taste, along with a folding and removable rear tailgate panel to unload cargo with ease!

This beautiful 1925 Ford Model T Express Delivery Truck was restored many years ago and continues to look and drive truly excellent! Under the hood remains a period correct 177ci Inline 4-cylinder engine rated at approximately 20 horsepower mated to a 2-speed planetary transmission. Our example here was further enhanced with a Rocky Mountain 6-speed transmission which triples the gearing range of the Ford transmission with an Under Drive, Direct Drive, and an Overdrive option for each of the forward gears, even reverse. According to Rocky Mountain literature, this provided 85% more pulling power, and 25% higher top end speed for traveling. They are extremely durable and have a proven industry history.

Other features on this incredibly special Model T include oil wick cowl lamps and rear stop lamp, electric headlamps with Ford lenses, added electric taillamps, auxiliary water pump, electric horn and a brass bulb horn, Ford amp meter, Boyce winged motometer, wood steering wheel, and interior rubber floor mat. This Model T has a documented history dating back to 1960 while still being shown and enjoyed in the Iowa region. It would migrate to Omaha, Nebraska in 1967 where it would earn top honors at the Omaha Antique Auto Hall of Fame Show, and later featured in the Sunday World-Herald Magazine of the Midlands in July 1971 as part of an article highlighting Omaha’s Centennial Model T Club.

Upon arrival to the St. Louis Car Museum & Sales, our service team performed a comprehensive inspection. We ultimately replaced the older gas tank for a brand new unit, sediment bowl with shut-off valve, and drain petcock; rebuilt the carburetor with steel needle & seat, bowl shim, spray nozzle, and gasket set; brand new water pump, connection pipe, hoses & clamps; new 180 degree thermostat, new fluids and oils from the radiator the rear axle; transmission oil screen and cover door gasket; and new ignition switch. It runs absolutely amazing and is ready for the next owner to show with tremendous pride! A Model T in this condition will never last long! Please call with any questions or to schedule your chance to review it in person.

1931 Ford Model A Pickup Streetrod

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we’re happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).

FEES: A documentation fee of $399 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state’s taxes, transfer, or additional fees.

AVAILABILITY: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment’s notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

CONTACT: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.

INSPECTION: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it’s important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.

PAYMENT: We require a non-refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours of winning or commitment to purchase. Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier’s check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears). We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.

SHIPPING: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper’s custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.

DRIVE IT HOME: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.

DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.

VIN VERIFICATION: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle’s current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer’s sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.

MILEAGES: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.

CONDITION: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Finally, be advised that although our sales associates are here to assist you with your purchase, they are not trained or certified vehicle inspectors.

Price: 19,995.00 USD

1929 Ford Model A Sport Coupe

AS-IS: All vehicles are sold “AS IS” and with no warranties expressed or implied. If you choose to waive inspection, do plan to have a detailed and transparent conversation with us regarding the vehicle’s condition. Ask the hard questions up front. Please just call us, we are here to help and welcome all your questions!

Information is provided to the best of our knowledge and we make no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy, truth, or reliability of such information. We cannot be responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained in information provided by the consignor/seller of the vehicle.
