Up for sale is a Dell Optiplex 7040 SFF PC that has been preloaded with OPNsense software. This server/router/firewall has been tested and is ready for use, and features 2 10 Gigabit SFP interfaces and 5 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, all of which are Intel based.

The specifications of this appliance are as follows:

– Intel Core i5-6500 @ 3.2 GHz (quad Core processor, supports AES-NI)

– 16GB DDR4 RAM

– 128GB solid state drive (SSD)

– 5 USB 3.0 Ports

– 4 USB 2.0 Ports

– HDMI Port

– 2x DisplayPort

– 5x Gigabit Ethernet ports – one onboard (Intel based), four on an add-in card (Intel based)

– 2x 10 Gigabit SFP ports – add-in card (no SFP modules included)

By default, the WAN and LAN interfaces will be configured on the add-in card as labeled:

-igb0 – WAN

-igb1 – LAN

The system has some scratches and signs of wear on the outside of the case. The item you will receive will be as pictured, along with a power cord. Please note that this device is not fanless, and has a small fan that can be heard during normal operation (under normal operating conditions, it is nearly silent).
