Our limited warranty does not cover expendable items such as batteries, toner cartridges, projector bulbs and other operating supplies.
Our Refurbishing Process
We refurbish our computers with the customer’s needs in mind. Your first impression is our highest standard, and that’s why we designed refurbishing process that produces computers that look great and just work right out of the box. The technicians at Discount Computer Depot assess three main points in the refurbishing process:
1. Functionality
Each part is tested individually for full functionality before being installed or used in a computer or laptop.
2. Cosmetic Quality
Each computer or laptop is inspected for cleanliness and cosmetic defects. Because these are refurbished items we only pass through items that will be 4 out of 5 stars for refurbished products. (4 out of 5 Stars means there will be some scratches or rubbing to the metal and plastic cases.)
3. Longevity
Our goal is to evaluate current technology and match the functionality of our refurbished products as closely as possible to new products being sold today.

Q. What product keys are included with my computer?
A. Your computer will include a new Genuine Microsoft Windows 10 Digital key.
Q. What accessories are included with computer?
A. Every computer we sell includes all necessary cables, product licenses, instructions and documentation. Laptops will come with Lithium Ion Batteries (Battery is not guaranteed to hold a charge.) The product description will list any additional accessories. If listed, included keyboard and mouse may not match brand of computer.
Q. How long will it take to receive my computer?
A. You will receive tracking information via email (the email address associated with your PayPal account) within three business days of purchase, and will be shipped fedex ground.
Q. Can I change shipping address after purchase?
A. Shipping address cannot be changed after purchase and must be a verified paypal address.
Q. What can you tell me about the monitor?
A. If a monitor is included, the size of your monitor is measured diagonally and is specified in the product listing. Brand of monitor may not be the same as the brand of computer.
Q. What type of computers do we sell?
A. We sell off-lease business and education computers than are business class. Business class computers are meant to last longer than consumer class computers.

Damaged Merchandise:
All items are covered by shipping insurance. In the unlikely event that your merchandise is damaged in transit, please notify the carrier, and proceed with an insurance claim. Please do that within 3 days of delivery. After this time the carrier may refuse your insurance claim. After the claim is made, we will ship same item to you if it is available or refund your purchase if not.
We offer an outstanding 1 YEAR WARRANTY on all hardware issues for our computers.
Warranty covers hardware issues only and excludes problems caused by abuse or tampering with components. Installation issues with products purchased elsewhere will not be covered in our warranty. Problems from installing internet service need to be directed to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) directly. Warranty does not cover any third-party software issues and unauthorized repairs/upgrades. Swapping internal components in computer systems will void the warranty.
We strive to bring you the best experience possible with our store and our products. If you experience any difficulties, please feel free to contact us If your problem cannot be resolved by phone, we will arrange to receive your item back from you for repair or replacement.
Batteries are not covered under our warranty. Amount of time batteries hold charge is not guaranteed. Please note that all batteries will hold charge, we don’t guarantee the amount of time.

Purchase Price and Payments. Seller agrees to sell the Goods to Buyer for purchase price agreed on eBay or PayPal Invoice. Seller will provide an invoice to Buyer through eBay or PayPal. Inspection of Goods & Return. Buyer is entitled to inspect the Goods upon delivery. If the Goods are unacceptable for any reason, Buyer must reject them up to (30) days from the date of delivery. If Buyer has not rejected the Goods within (30) business days from the date of delivery, Buyer shall have waived any right to return that specific delivery of Goods. Risk of Loss. Risk of loss will be on the Seller until the Carrier delivers the goods. Buyer shall maintain any and all necessary insurance in order to insure the Goods against loss, at Buyers own expense.
Title. The title to the Goods will be the Buyer, after the carrier delivers goods.
Force Majeure. Seller will not be liable to Buyer for any delay, non-delivery or default of this Agreement due to labor disputes, transportation shortage, delay or shortage of materials to produce the Goods, fires, accidents, Acts of God, or any other causes outside of Seller’s control. Seller shall notify Buyer immediately upon the realization that it will not be able to deliver the Goods as promised.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability. THE GOODS ARE SOLD ‘AS IS’. SELLER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SELLER’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO BUYER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE CHARGES PAID BY BUYER TO SELLER FOR THESE GOODS AND SERVICES.
Severability and Waiver. In the event any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, that part shall be severed from the remainder of the Agreement and all other provisions should continue in full force and effect as valid and enforceable. The failure by either party to exercise any right, power, or privilege under the terms of this Agreement will not be construed as a waiver of any subsequent or further exercise of that right, power, or privilege or the exercise of any other right, power, or privilege.
Remedies and Legal Fees. In the event of a dispute, Buyer’s sole remedy for any and all losses or damages resulting from defective Goods or from any other cause will be for the purchase price of the particular Goods with respect to which losses or damages are claimed, plus any shipping costs paid by Buyer. In the event such dispute results in legal action, the successful party will be entitled to its legal fees, including, but not limited to, its attorneys’ fees.
Legal and Binding Agreement. This Agreement is legal and binding between the Parties as stated above and by eBay. This Agreement may be entered into and is legal and binding both in the United States and internationally. The Parties each represent that they have the authority to enter into this Agreement.
Dispute Resolution. Parties agree that any eBay dispute resolution is not binding, and this agreement will supersede any eBay decision.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction. All actions and proceedings arising out of, or relating to, this Agreement shall be heard and determined in any state or federal court sitting in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Westmoreland County. Parties expressly and irrevocably consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of any of such courts in any such action or proceeding; and (ii) waive any claim or defense in any such action or proceeding based on any alleged lack of personal jurisdiction, improper venue or forum non conveniens or any similar basis. Furthermore, in the event that a party brings suit in an alternate jurisdiction, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover from the non-prevailing party all reasonable costs incurred, including court costs, attorneys fees, and all other related expenses incurred, to resolve a jurisdictional claim.
Entire Agreement and Amendment. The Parties acknowledge and agree that this Agreement represents the entire agreement between the Parties. Parties enter into this Agreement when the sale has been paid through eBay or PayPal. This Agreement can only be amended in writing by both parties.

We currently only ship to PayPal verified US addresses including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship to US territories.

3. Orders, Acceptance and Cancellation.
Your order is an offer to buy. Dell may send an order confirmation email to acknowledge receipt of your order, but Dell does not accept your order until we send you notice that the Product has shipped. Dell may process payment for and ship parts of an order separately. Dell reserves the right at any time, even after we send you a confirmation email, to decline or cancel your order or to limit order quantities for any reason, including errors or suspected fraud.
4. Pricing and Availability.
Prices and promotions are subject to change. Dell strives to communicate accurate pricing and product information, but errors may occur. In the unlikely event that an error impacts your order, or a Product ordered is no longer available, we will either contact you for instructions or cancel your order.
5. Taxes and Fees.

6. Shipping.
Product title passes to you when the Product ships. You are responsible for inspecting the package(s) upon delivery and must note any visible damage on the proof of delivery (POD) or other delivery receipt the carrier asks you to sign. 8. Receiving Warranty or Service Support.

DELL AND/OR YOUR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR RECOVERY OF DATA OR PROGRAMS, OR FOR LOSS OF USE OF SYSTEM(S) ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES OR SUPPORT OR ANY ACT OR OMISSION, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BY DELL OR YOUR-THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER. Parts used in repairing or servicing Product(s) may be new, equivalent-to-new, or reconditioned.
9. Telephone Communications.
Telephone communications with us, our agents or independent contractors may be monitored and/or recorded. You expressly consent, on behalf of yourself and other users of your phone number, to such monitoring or recording. By providing us with a phone number (including mobile) as your contact number, you expressly authorize us to contact you on that number via text message or telephone, including via prerecorded or auto-dialed calls. This consent is for non-telemarketing calls only.
10. Limitation of Liability.
In no event will Dell be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if Dell has been advised of the possibility of such damages. YOU AGREE THAT DELL’S LIABILITY IN ANY DISPUTE WILL BE CAPPED AT THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE ORDER OR PRODUCT AT ISSUE. Some states do not allow limitation of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. If you are a New Jersey resident, this provision will not apply to claims for damages caused by Dell’s intentional, reckless or grossly negligent conduct.
11. Purchases may not be resold or exported.
Your purchase is for your own use, not for resale, export, re-export or transfer. Your purchase is subject to and you are responsible for compliance with the export control and economic sanctions laws of the United States and other applicable jurisdictions (“Export Laws”). Your purchase may not be sold, leased, or transferred to restricted countries, restricted end users, or for restricted end uses according to the Export Laws.
12. Governing Law.
THESE TERMS AND ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND DELL WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, WITHOUT REGARD TO CONFLICTS OF LAW.
13. Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration.
YOU AND DELL AGREE TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTES BETWEEN US EXCLUSIVELY AND FINALLY BY BINDING ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, WHICH MEANS YOU AND DELL WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO LITIGATE DISPUTES IN A COURT OR BEFORE A JURY, OR AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION, A REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, A CONSOLIDATED ACTION OR IN A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL CAPACITY.
- This arbitration requirement applies to any claim or dispute of any kind (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, whether pre-existing, present, or future, and including statutory, common law, or equitable) between you and Dell, its agents, employees, successors, assigns, direct and indirect subsidiaries, and any third party providing any products or services to you in connection with your purchase (“Dell”) that relates in any way to your purchase or Product, these Terms, or Dell’s marketing or advertising (“Claims”).
- You still have the right to bring individual Claims in small claims court, to the extent that you qualify.
- Dell will pay the arbitration/arbitrator fees.
- Arbitration shall be administered by either:
- The American Arbitration Association (AAA), subject to its Consumer Arbitration Rules, or
- JAMS, subject to the JAMS Comprehensive Arbitration Rules.
- The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve any arbitrability issues including any dispute over these Terms or this arbitration provision’s scope, application, meaning, and enforceability. The arbitrator shall be empowered to grant whatever relief would be available in court. Any award of the arbitrator(s) shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
- You and Dell agree to arbitration only on an individual basis. Neither you nor Dell may join or consolidate claims of others or participate in any claim as a class representative or a class member. If any portion of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the unenforceable portion shall be severed, and the remaining arbitration terms shall be enforced (but in no event will there be a class arbitration). This Paragraph controls over any inconsistent term in any other agreement.
- This transaction shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act 9 U.S.C. sec. 1-16 (FAA).
Return
We hope you love everything you order from us. Should you be less than happy with anything you’ve ordered, please contact us directly via your eBay order within 30 days of receiving your item before you attempt to return any product, you can click on the “Return this item” link. Please include the reason for the return request and include the condition of the item (factory sealed, opened but unused, etc.). Please allow 2-3 business days for your return authorization to be processed.
In the unlikely event you think you may have received the wrong or a potentially defective product, you may request a return. If the item is determined to be incorrect (not matching the order placed online) or defective upon inspection, we will cover the cost to return the item via a prepaid shipping label. Please note that we do not cross-ship any items, even if you feel you may have ordered incorrectly or received the wrong product.
In the rare event your package is damaged in transit please contact us within 1-2 days of receiving your item. We will likely require you to send a photo of the damage in order to process a claim with the carrier. Damage to packaging and concealed damage is extremely rare but we encourage you to open your item as soon as it is received and inspect your purchase. Claims filed with shipping carriers are processed on a case by case basis.
Once return authorization # is issued all returns must include the following:
Original packaging (manufacturer’s box, Styrofoam, plastic bags, etc.)
Original intact UPC barcode. Do not cut out or remove the UPC code until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction. Removal of the UPC code may void any possibility of return regardless of RMA or credit request status. The return must be complete and include all accessories, Manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration information, etc.).
Do not mail or dispose of the packing slip until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction.
Products returned with a valid RA #, new, unopened in perfect condition with all packaging and item materials and manuals will not be subject to a restocking fee and a full refund will be issued.
Credit for returns is based on the current price of returned product at the time the return is physically received in by the RMA Returns Center therefore it is important to contact us within the guidelines above. The only exceptions are for returns due to warehouse errors or freight damages.
Once Return Merchandise Authorization number has been issued, buyer must ship the return prepaid. We do not cover return shipping expenses unless return is due to our error such as over shipment, mis-ship or sales error. The Return Merchandise Authorization number MUST be written on the shipping label only.
It is recommended that you ensure all products being returned (for full value) in order to avoid any potential exposure if the product is lost or damaged while in transit back to us. All products damaged while in transit on an approved Return Merchandise Authorization will be refused.
Dell will initiate the refund within 7 to 10 business days once the product has been validated and authorized by Dell.

Q. What product keys are included with my computer?
A. Your computer will include a new Genuine Microsoft Windows 11 Digital License Key.
Q. What accessories are included with computer?
A. Every computer we sell includes all necessary cables, product licenses, instructions and documentation. Laptops will come with Lithium Ion Batteries (Battery is not guaranteed to hold a charge.) The product description will list any additional accessories. If listed, included keyboard and mouse may not match brand of computer.
Q. How long will it take to receive my computer?
A. You will receive tracking information via email (the email address associated with your PayPal account) within three business days of purchase, and will be shipped FedEx Ground.
Q. Can I change shipping address after purchase?
A. Shipping address cannot be changed after purchase and must be a verified PayPal address.
Q. What can you tell me about the monitor?
A. If a monitor is included, the size of your monitor is measured diagonally and is specified in the product listing. Brand of monitor may not be the same as the brand of computer.
Q. What type of computers do we sell?
A. We sell off-lease business and education computers than are business class. Business class computers are meant to last longer than consumer class computers.

Shipping is included for free with your purchase. We use FedEx for all of our shipping and provide tracking for all purchases. We ship to United States and utilize the eBay Global Ship Program. Shipments are sent only to the address provided by PayPal shipping account address. If you wish to have the item shipped to a different address, please change your shipping address in PayPal.
