Payment
Any purchase(s) must be paid in full before they can be released. Payment on pick up is welcome. We gladly accept cash, certified check, or wire transfer. Effective immediately, the collection of sales tax in a state is no longer dependent on a seller’s physical presence in a state. Other factors, such as selling online in a state, are considered. Crownstone Equipment & its affiliates now charge state sales tax on sales made into several states. Any sales into these states that qualify for farming use or resale will be considered non-taxable once a proper sales tax exemption form for the taxing state is provided.
If you receive an invoice from us and you are sales tax exempt in your state, please provide us with a completed sales tax exemption form for resale or agricultural purposes, and we will remove sales tax. If you need assistance finding the correct form to fill out, please contact us and we will send you a copy.
All items purchased from us can remain at our location for 30 days following the close of the sale without incurring any additional charges. However, if an item remains at our location for more than 30 days, the item can be resold to recover storage costs and the original purchaser will not receive any of the proceeds. Nonpayment could result in negative feedback.
Many items we sell online are also available locally in store as well. We do our best to keep our online inventory up to date but recommend verifying availability of any item prior to purchasing.
Terms Of Sale
Many items sold will include a warranty. The length and type of warranty on any item will be listed in the item’s description. Any item that does not have a warranty will be sold As-is, Where-is and will be sold without any warranty or guarantee. It is the buyer’s responsibility to decide how each item looks in their own opinion. If you have any questions or concerns regarding any item, please contact us. We are happy to speak with you and will answer any questions to the best of our ability.
The majority of used equipment we handle is purchased from other equipment sources, traded in, etc. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee the hours of service on any of the items we sell. We do guarantee that we never turn back hour meters or tachometers so the information we report for an item is taken directly from the specific meter. If a machine shows low hours or miles, etc. that do not appear to be correct, we will tell you that. Otherwise, our information is from the machine and is not guaranteed as to accuracy.
All information we provide for items such as serial numbers, weights, horsepower, lift capacities, year, etc. is taken from sources generally deemed to be accurate. We do not guarantee that information but provide it for your assistance. If an item is being sold As-Is, Where-Is, it is being sold without any guarantee. Once you purchase the piece, it is yours.

Shipping
We do not offer free shipping on any item sold unless specified otherwise. If you need to ship an item, we strongly recommend contacting us for a shipping quote PRIOR to agreeing to purchase an item. We are happy to provide a quote for shipping any item(s). Buyers are also welcome to arrange their own third-party shipping as well. Please keep in mind that we will NOT release any equipment without proper documentation. Proper documentation includes but is not limited to a valid Bill of Lading, Paid Invoice, etc. Any person picking up any item(s) may be asked to show I.D. for security purposes.
